Paperbell is no fun
when there is
only one!

Paperbell is not just for you, it’s for you and your clients. So let’s break down exactly how to work with them in Paperbell!

First off, I want to address a common urge: you want to import all of your old clients into Paperbell, don’t you?

PLEASE DON’T!

OK, just kidding about the all caps. But really, we advise you not to import old clients. There won’t be any useful info tied to them and it will just clutter your setup. Instead, invite future or currently engaged clients to jump into Paperbell with you.

Which Paperbell link do I send to new clients, and how can I find it?

Paperbell is centered around the idea of packages. Your packages are what you sell (or give away, in the case of a free discovery call). So there isn’t just one universal Paperbell scheduling link, it’s all about which package you want to link to.

SO, when you need to send a link to a client, you first need to start with the package. Do that by finding or creating the right package in Paperbell. Then click on the package and navigate to the Sharing tab.

Sharing tab

Once you’re there you’ll see a few different options. (BTW you can always find this later on our help pages if you want to bookmark that!) Also note that you can use the “preview” link to see exactly what your client sees, or the little clipboard arrow pointing left to automatically copy the link.

📄 Package Landing Page
This is the URL of your package landing page – AKA what you share with the world! Here’s more info on integrating Paperbell into your website and other marketing.

📆 Schedule Link

This link takes your prospect right into your “checkout flow” whether that is payment first or scheduling first (default it scheduling first). Use this link if you want to skip the package overview page.

Maybe you’ve created your own package overview on your site and you want to use a “Buy Now” button that links straight into the scheduling/booking process. This would be the link you use.

💈 Homepage

This links to your Paperbell site, an overview page with all publicly available packages.

🤵‍♀️ Existing Client Login

Looking for the link to send your clients so that they can access their downloads or schedule more appointments? This is it! Note that this is a universal link, it’s not specific to any one package. If you want to grab it right now, the link is: https://app.paperbell.com/client

💻 Embedded Calendar

Copy and paste this into your website to embed the booking calendar for a specific package. Go here to learn exactly how to do this.

What about the clients that are in the middle of an engagement with me?

Good question! We have a whole help doc on that, read it right here. Remember: only add them to Paperbell if they are in the middle of working with you, not if they are finished.

Hi there, welcome to Paperbell!

Log in to your account at https://app.paperbell.com

Watch this video for a comprehensive step-by-step setup guide:

It’s jam-packed with info, so feel free to jump to the parts which are most relevant to you! You can use the timestamps below to skip ahead, and if you’re looking for more help resources, scroll down to our Brief Overview of The Entire App. Enjoy!

00:00 Welcome to Paperbell
02:54 Connect Stripe or PayPal and get paid
05:31 Integrate a Calendar so you aren’t double booked (optional)
07:48 Connect with Zoom or Google Meet for your video sessions
09:27 Fine-tune your Availability and Notification settings (optional)
10:09 Customise your beautiful Paperbell website
21:14 Set your Availability so clients can schedule with you
25:00 Create Packages to showcase your offerings
35:26 Launch a Group Coaching package (optional)
35:48 Add more Pricing options, Surveys, a Contract, Automated Emails and Content (optional)
45:21 See how it all comes together for a seamless Client Experience

There are three steps* that must be completed for your site to be live, and we’ve already done one of them for you!

1. Active packages

Great news: you already have two default packages ready to go:

  • Free Discovery package with 1 x 30 min session
  • $100 Breakthrough package with 1 x 60 min session

You can edit those packages and create new packages — or just stick with those first two packages and add as you go.

2. Check availability

Your account will already have default availability, but you may want to edit or add availability, so clients can book time with you once they’ve got one of your packages.

*Optional (but encouraged) steps:

3. Connect Stripe or PayPal (so you can get paid quickly & easily)

If you’re only selling free packages, you don’t need to hook up a payment processor. But once you’re ready to charge for your work with clients, you’ll need to connect Stripe or PayPal to your account.

4. Connect your Google, Outlook, or Apple calendar (so you’ll never be double-booked)

That’s it! After you’ve completed these 2-4 steps, you can start sharing your homepage URL (you can find the link here) so that clients can buy packages and book time with you.

You know how you can buy a package of 10 yoga classes, then use their booking software to book the actual classes whenever you like? Your clients do the same with Paperbell! Your client pays for a package up-front, then goes into the system to book the actual sessions. It’s up to them if they’d like to go ahead and schedule everything ahead of time, or log back in and schedule when they’re ready for their next session. When they purchase through Paperbell they will create their own client account, just like you do at a yoga studio.

This ensures that you get paid up front, instead of chasing down invoices. If you prefer that your clients pay as they go, you can create single-session packages for your clients to keep re-purchasing whenever they’re ready.
