How do I set up SMS reminders? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Coaches toggle on this option in their notification settings<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But your CLIENTS MUST OPT IN<\/strong> to receive SMS\/text reminders of their sessions. We are not in the business of spamming your beloved clients! So we need their permission to send them text messages. \ud83d\ude07<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do clients opt in to receive SMS reminders? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

So glad you asked. First, clients will log in to the Client Portal <\/a>to add and verify their number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To do this, they’ll go to Settings<\/a> and add their phone number. They will see a bar at the top of the page with a link to click for a verification code. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your client clicks Send code<\/strong>, enters the code<\/strong> in the box, and clicks the Verify<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, they tick the box<\/strong> to agree to receive SMS reminders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can I verify and opt in to SMS reminders FOR my client? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nope! They need to do this themselves. But you can absolutely coach them through it with these instructions<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How will I know my client has opted-in for text notifications? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Paperbell shows you! The client’s profile shows whether your client has verified their number and opted in to these reminders (feel free to send them instructions<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yep! A client replies “STOP” to a reminder to no longer receive them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nope — these reminders are super simple, set-it-and-forget-it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though if you’d like to say more pre-appointment, you can totally do that with automated emails<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can I check if my client was sent an SMS reminder? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You bet. Find it in the Message Log, the same place you can see what emails they’ve received:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about my clients in other countries – can they get SMS reminders?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

That depends on the country! Because of technical limitations we can’t offer SMS reminders to clients everywhere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
